Senior girls are so much fun to shoot because they are the selfie generation. They know how to look good in front of a camera. They practice poses, they take a lot of pictures and they critique what works and what doesn’t. But it never fails that each girl that gets in front of my camera says something about feeling awkward or not knowing what to do, or feeling silly. Well the truth is most people feel a little awkward in front of the camera, but I do consider it part of my job to put you at ease. I will guide through poses, even doing them myself to show what I mean- and so you aren’t the only one looking awkward and feeling silly! The goal of the session is to make this a fun, memorable experience that results in beautiful portraits. The experience you have is equally as important as the photos themselves. This is your one and only senior year, and every part of it will sum up your entire high school career. So I want this to be fun for you, too!
This pretty girl is Camie, and I’ve been waiting to get her in front of my camera for a few years now. I photographed her sister for her senior portraits, and did their family portraits, and finally it was Camie’s turn as a senior! After she finishes out this year at Holly Springs High School, she will be joining her sister at UNCW. Congrats, Camie!
